Background information
Robo-Mate started as a European research project, running from September 2013 to November 2016 and co-funded by the EU (more information on Cordis). After successful tests in the lab and at industry partners, key partners prepared follow-up projects and commercialisation of selected modules.

The following material provides some background information on Robo-Mate as a research project and its main results.
  • Robo-Mate Main Results: Article from the research*eu results magazine (Issue 59, February 2017) on Robo-Mate's main achievements
  • Robo-Mate Factsheet: Objectives, impact and background of the Robo-Mate project
  • Robo-Mate Factsbook: Use cases of Robo-Mate exoskeleton and reasons for a modular approach
  • Robo-Mate White Paper: Considerations for developing safety standards for industrial exoskeletons
  • Robo-Mate Risk Assessment: A risk analysis for the Robo-Mate exoskeleton prototype, from design to demonstration
